Martin Haines has practiced family law in Palm Beach County
since he was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1971. Board Certified
in Marital and Family Law June 1,1985, Mr. Haines has dedicated
his career to guiding his clients through complicated and often
overwhelming court proceedings.
Mr. Haines has served
as president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy
of Matrimonial Lawyers, president of the Family Law Section
of the Florida Bar and as a member of the Executive Council
of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. For the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers his involvement also included membership on the Board
of Governors, service on the State Board of Managers and
editor of the Academy newsletter. Mr. Haines’ other memberships include: the American Bar Association,
the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Academy of
Florida Trial Lawyers and the American College of Matrimonial
Lawyers. Additionally, he is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell
Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, Law & Leading Attorneys
and Best Lawyers of America.
Recognized for his expertise in the area of Family Law, Mr.
Haines has authored many publications and lectures throughout
the United States. He earned his B.A. from Lafayette College
in 1968 and was awarded his Juris Doctorate from the Stetson
University College of Law in 1971.
